If you want insights on survey answers (especially single choice, multi choice and Yes/No questions) you’ve come to the right place!
</aside>
By default, the page may look a little messy (because it’s a massive matrix with all of your survey questions as columns and all the answers as rows) until you filter down by either “Survey Name”, “Survey Question Text” or even “Survey Answer Value”. The key with this page is to get the filters right and then, also add the relevant question columns from the SurveyAnswersPivoted table to the table of visits below.
On the image below, the follow colours represent:
- Yellow: Matrix for getting insights on how many times each answer (rows) were chosen, grouped by survey question (columns), with the applied filters.
- Orange: Table for drilling down into the data and exporting it to Excel spreadsheets.
- Blue: Visualisation config - this is where you can drag data columns into visualisations, re-order them and build your perfect visuals. With matrices, you’re choosing rows (yellow), columns and values. With tables (orange), you’re choosing columns.
- Green: Data panel - this is where you can see all of the data columns made available in the template app, these columns can be used in visuals by dragging or ticking them. The specific one highlighted is the new “SurveyAnswersPivoted” table which contains all of your survey questions as columns, great for dragging into the table (orange) below to customise your exports.
- Pink: Filters - this is where you can filter your visuals down to exactly what you need, we’ve given you survey, question and answer filters for maximum flexibility.
